A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY
Before my 27th birthday, I will have spent a quarter of my life in Provo. Each photograph presented here represents a significant, but now fading, memory of my life in this place.
My criteria for each photograph was the same: stand 26 feet from my camera, which was sitting on my tripod, with my lens focused at three feet. All settings on my camera were the same for each photograph, except the shutter speed to allow correct exposure in different lighting situations.
The nature of this project is inherently personal. The memories I have are known to me and to those who shared them with me. My purpose in creating these photographs is to enable the view to be a part of my photographic memory.
